Former Minister of Science and Technology of Brazil. Marco António Raupp holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and is a lecturer at the University of São Paulo, where he had previously been an associate professor in the university’s Institute of Mathematics and Statistics. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has been a researcher and director of Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and the National Laboratory for Scientific Computation (LNCC). As head of the INPE’s board of directors, he was involved in the negotiations that resulted in the CBERS satellite program in cooperation with China. While at the INPE, he was also responsible for setting up the Integration and Tests Laboratory (LIT), and at the LNCC he created the Bioinformatics Laboratory. He was one of the driving forces behind the creation of the São José dos Campos Technology Park, an organization that he headed from 2008 to 2011, where he spearheaded a number of innovative projects. He served as president and advisor for the Brazilian Society for Scientific Progress (SBPC) and as a member of the supervisory board of the Fundação Carlos Chagas Filho de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ). He is a member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA). From March 2011 to January 2012, he chaired the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), an institution where his broad experience in space policy and technology was put to good use. He also served on the board of directors of a bi-national company, Alcântara Cyclone Space (ACS). He has been a member of Brazil’s National Science and Technology Council (CCT), chair of the board of directors of the Center for Strategic Management and Studies (CGEE), and a member of the board of directors of the Brazilian Association for Synchrotron Light Technology (ABTLuS), all of which are institutions in the National System of Science, Technology, and Innovation. He has received the Grand Cross of the Order of Rio Branco from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Grand Cross of the National Order of Scientific Merit from the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has been awarded the honorific titles of Commander of the Order of Naval Merit, Brazilian Navy, and Commander of the Order of Aeronautical Merit, Brazilian Air Force. He has also been awarded a Medal of Honor from the State of Minas Gerais and the honorific title of Commander of the National Order of Merit of France.

Born on 30 March 1959, Abdo Kassisse graduated from School of Electrical Engineering of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCAMP). Abdo started his career as a process engineer in the electronics industry (manufacturing of integrated circuits) at Ford Electronics before working as a Sales Manager for the fiber optic and electronic telecommunications market at Algar Group. Itzhak “Tsahi” Reich is the current Consul for Economic Affairs at the Israel Trade & Investment office in Sao Paulo. Previously, he served as director of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, where he was responsible for the offices in the United States and Canada. Before becoming a public official, Tsahi led the Business Development department at the water treatment company GES and established a Business Intelligence and Competitive Intelligence unit at IDE, the world's leading desalination company. He has worked as an associate consultant at TASC, Israel's leading strategic consulting firm and, along with Rewards Network, provided capital and marketing services to the restaurant industry. Cesar Alexandre de Souza is a Professor at the Economy, Business and Accounting School of the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP). Miriam Martin is Director of Information Technology - LATAM, Corteva Agriscience ™, DowDuPont ™ Agricultural Division. Responsible for executing IT strategy and operation in the areas of applications, infrastructure and data for the entire region. Miriam joined DuPont in 1995 and has held a number of IT positions in Brazil and the United States as a specialist in outsourcing global contract negotiation, global offshore / outsourcing leader, CIO / Senior IT advisor, Vice President, CIO for Marketing & Sales, and IT leader for joining, acquiring and separating business units for Brazil and Latin America. Prior to joining DuPont, Miriam worked for Transdados, an IT company for Transbrasil, and served as a consultant for several companies in the field of applications projects. Prof. Newton was the director of the "Gleb Wataghin" Physics Institute (IFGW), University of Campinas – UNICAMP – Brazil from 2014 to 2017; the deputy director of this institute from 2010 to 2014. He was the director of the Center for Semiconductor Components and Nanotechnologies – UNICAMP from 2005 to 2010. From 2001 to 2003, he worked as a senior optoelectronic designer at T- Networks Inc., Pennsylvania, USA, in the advanced photonic device technology group. He obtained his Master's and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and his bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics from the IFGW – UNICAMP. He is a Brazilian National Research and Development Council (CNPq – Brasil) research fellow leading the device Research Laboratory (LPD – IFGW – UNICAMP) and the author and coauthor of over 100 scientific papers and several international patents primarily in the areas of optoelectronics and photonics.
Orlando Ribeiro has been with Petrobras for 36 years. He started his career in Campos Basin as an Offshore Completion Engineer and held several Technical and Management positions in various areas, including Completion Operations, Subsea Engineering, R&D, New Ventures and Gas and Power. He was Project Manager for the Cascade and Chinook Development, in the Gulf of Mexico. After this, he was Program Manager for the PROCAP Future Vision Program. In July 2012 he was the Production Engineering R&D General Manager of Petrobras R&D Center and in 2014 he was Subsea, Wells and Facilities General Manager for the Libra development. Since April 2018 he is the Petrobras R&D Center Executive Manager. Mr Ribeiro has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering and the Petrobras Petroleum Engineering course. He also concluded Graduate Studies on Science and Technology management in the University of São Paulo and INSEAD. In addition, Mr. Ribeiro has two patents, is author or co-author of several papers and takes part in the organizer committee for some events in the subsea and offshore areas, such as: OTC, SPE Forum Series Brazil, Rio Oil & Gas, Subsea Forum Rio.
